Day 6-8:
Time for some R&R. With three days left before our return flight we stopped at a campground on our way back to my brother’s place. We hung my tarp over the picnic table and got to work de-boning and repacking into 2.5-gallon bags for the return flight. You get some looks deboning meat in a NF campground but doing the work on a real table was worth it. We also did some fishing and stacked up some 12” rainbows for dinner and to bring to my brother.
Back in Denver we got the meat in a freezer, checked into the local bar scene, and took my first scooter ride. I had to install both the Uber and Lyft apps, but feel I was pretty behind the times not having them already. I’m still shocked those things are allowed. We were a menace riding the roads and even sketched out a race course in an unattended hospital parking structure.
