California Hunting Digest

The Department of Fish and Wildlife manages California's diverse fish, wildlife, and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend, for their ecological values and for their use and enjoyment by the public.

For all the CA hunters, the 2021 digest was recently released. Now I can start planning my tags around wildfire and drought season.

Ca hunting license sales were up 9% in 2020.
Fishing license sales up 11%
No decline here.
Straight up more folks in the woods.
I saw more people on the refuges than I’ve seen in the last 15 years.
