Been shooting Rage Hypodermics the last few years with no problems . I Shot a turk last year right under the wing and all the way through and it ran off like nothing happened. Used a dog and found it dead in the timber 150 yards away. Thought about bullheads but they are a pain to keep from cutting your strings in the quiver . Anyone have any good mechanicals they recommend ? 3 blade maybe ? ?

The Vortex 100 gr. 2.5" and 125 gr. 2 3/4" are great turkey heads. Hit 'em high.

Grim reaper whitetail specials again for us this year. Both birds dropped in sight last season. One within feet.

These are the best turkey heads I’ve found. They drop turkeys almost just as quickly as bullheads, and sometime it is just as quick.

He was shuckin’ and jivin’ a bit but dropped dead about 15 feet from the decoy he was squaring up with. High body hit.

A few years back I shot my 3 spring birds allowed here in CA with the Vortex 2 3/4" and the combined recovery distance from where they were hit to where they died was 6 yards. Most of that was one bird and was gravity-assisted,

Decided to give the NAP Spitfire a try this year. A 3 blade forward (?) deploying system should work.

Spitfires work well on turkeys. NAP gobbler getters are even better if you can find them.
