2020 mule deer & Ruger Number One

Not a huge buck, but crippled up with foot & leg injuries as I am this year, this one will do.

A single handloaded 160 grain Sierra Game King at 3050 fps from the 7mm Rem Mag did the job. Sadly I pulled the shot a few inches to the rear instead of tucking it right behind the shoulder as intended. I was on a steep sidehill, kneeling/sitting and steadied the rifle by wrapping the Montana Sling around my arm. Very nice.

Buck dropped and died at the shot and frankly I'm pleased as all get out.
