2020 Elk Hunting suggestions with a 5/6K budget

With the COVID, conventional thinking could be out the window this year. I'd say don't give up and be flexible. I would think that landowner tags might not have the demand they've had in the past. There could be a lot of last minute cancellations/openings. A guy I know picked up a dall sheep hunt for half of what it would have cost because he was able to go on two weeks notice a few years ago.

This could be a crazy year for all that sort of stuff.

I did draw a 1st season rifle tag in unit 74 but that's the same area we've been hunting for years and I'm thinking of turning it in for an otc tag.
