I took this ram on November 21 and this was my first ram. This Nevada desert sure is magical my 13 year old son was there with me and made it that much more memorable..

Reflecting on a great season, going though notes and pics, and figured I’d throw this one up. Prompted by a move out of state, I cashed in the few points I had on this solo backpack ewe hunt. I learned more this season, and on this hunt, than through any prior experience. For me, a trophy in every way.

We finally booted Dad from the <1 club this year. He earned it too. Hiked 2.5 days deep into glacier country for this one at 67 y.o.
