In GE, select 'Path', then Elevation Profile, and create your hike.

It will show you distance, elev gain, elev loss, max slope, etc...

Ya I did that showed my brother and it didn’t look that bad we got half way on the way back out he told me to shove ge up my ass with that trail info. Haha

56% success rate? Someone is reading the stats wrong or is looking at a late season private land hunt

Most folks stress too hard on units. Pick a unit and then go find the elk. As long as unit has plenty of public land and isn't a barren desert.... there will be elk there somewhere That's where google earth comes in... pick a couple of canyons and go for a hike.
