Nice birds all.

I've been Blessed with two nice toms the past two Saturdays here in VA. Both of these came off of the family farm taken with my recurve. This past Saturdays gobbler was a tank with 1 1/2" spurs.

God Bless.

Great photos! That’s awesome!

My 6 year old son JR and I filled our tag tonight. Public land, last day, last hour of our tag period. We had a blast chasing birds together for the first time something I'll never forget.
With a MN bird down heading to SD for a annual trip to the BH in hopes to fill another tag.
Enjoy seeing everyone's birds, Good luck out there!t2.jpgt7.jpg

Good looking crew. I’ve got a 1 and 3 year old. Can’t wait to get them out. Congrats!

I went out after work for a quick hunt and to do some scouting for this weekend. I was flanking a bird in a bean field when I caught this guy crossing the trail I was on with his 5 hens. I used the turkey fan to get to 50-60 yards of him and luckily didn’t get busted even though the fan was all I had for cover. Took my shot as he was pushing his hens towards an open pipeline. Couldn’t be happier with my NE Kansas bird. 11” beard, 1.5” spurs

I think the birds where I'm hunting are call shy.

Stalked within 40 yards or so of three big gobblers but was out of time and didn't want to rush it and ruin the spot. This is the second time I've seen them at that spot showing off to each other. Think I'll go back Tuesday without calls and just set decoys.
