We are but not for moose this time we are flying out of kotzebue for caribou.

Great bulls! Congrats! Like the pics. You mentioned you could have shaved of some money....where could/would you save in the future? Also, what was the cost to get the bull from Anchorage to your home? How much meat did you take home?

We took one of the bulls home and donated the other. From anchorage to Texas was around 700 for the meat. Biggest deal was getting it to anchorage next time we will donate it all.

I did a caribou hunt out of kotzebue around 6 years ago. I had a great time and harvested a couple caribou. I heard the herd numbers were down. Have they bounced back?
