2019 Coyote Board

Dumped one at 425 yards yesterday and one at 448 today. Got a picture through my spotter of the one today. Not a great picture but my longest kill to date.

My wife just got one to add to 2019, 34.12 lbs male, both bottom canines wore or broke off. Sucker stunk. Raining pretty good when she shot it so I brought it to the house for pics. Video before morning hopefully.

I need to start checking the teeth on some of the ones ive killed . Killed number 26 for the year. 19 snaring , 4 calling , 3 caught at the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Finally got out and made it happen today. Saw 12 in total( 4 while drive and 5 while walking into a stand) but only connected on one. Only other one i had a chance on snuck into my 6 didnt see him untill i was packing up.

Finally made it happen after several years. Glassed him up over 300 yds away, handcalled him inside 150 yds and dropped him!
Was supposed to be hunting for javelina, but this was just as good!

Number 5 for 2019. Another shitty picture through the spotter but it works when they’re across the creek!

Thanks! This is the first year I have had a set up with dials and put in enough range time to use them. It’s been a lot of fun shooting extended ranges and managing to knock a few coyotes down that otherwise would have got away.

I have been to busy to get out calling since we started calving. I see a few each day, but at distance or running. I'm sure some less educated ones will show up as the season progresses. Maybe I had to good a 2018 and thinned the dumb ones down more than I thought.

Didn't have any time this year. I guess I should say didn't make anytime this year. Only made three stands killed one dog. Probably one of the biggest males I've shot.

#8 died yesterday while I was checking cows. I spotted him sneaking off down a draw that I knew had a flatter open area down toward the bottom of it. I slipped around to overlook that spot and picked him off at 250 when he crossed it. Shot a nice buck the same way several years back. I got him with the 69 grain Berger from the 243 at 3477fps, it thumped him.
