Nice!!

My 2019 Wyoming bull. DIY with a hunting partner who also tagged out on a great bull. One of the greatest hunts and adventures I'll have. 20+miles a day on the horses from our backcountry camp. Not an easy hunt with deep snow and conditions, but lots of elk and passed on many big bulls searching for a dream bull which I found.

Wow. That is one dark cape on that guy. Did you take the cape or just the skull?

Only brought the skull for a euro. I do regret a bit not bringing out that dark cape - he was almost black on his legs and stomach too - but it was a solo packout and the extra weight wasn't sounding worth it at the time. Hindsight.

There are some badass photos on here! Congrats to all!
I've never been west of the Mississippi and decided I wanted to do a solo elk hunt. Found an OTC unit drove 18hrs straight went from 600 ft in Indiana to 10,200 in Colorado 42 hours without sleep and 7 miles into the back county. Harvested this Bull on the 3rd morning! Had to prop the cell phone up on my pack to get the pictures.
