2017 3rd season Colorado Muley

Finally got back to Colorado for a mule deer hunt, 1st time hunting this unit and was a public land hunt. A good friend gave me some suggestions for a camp spot in a central location along with some info on the unit to get me started in the right direction. My brother was happy to come along with me and I am grateful to have had his help scouting, glassing, being a pack mule and processor! I caught a glimpse of this Muley glassing just as he bedded down nearly out of sight in some oak brush 375yds away, with no end to the wind, warm weather and no snow to help with the hunt I decided I just could not pass on this deer.

I usually do multipe muley hunts a year and was very fortunate to fill both tags this year, after 10 days of hunting decided to bring this guy home, couldn't of died in a more scenic spot either!
