Had a great year in 16 I got to hunt quite a bit!
Oklahoma hog hunt to start the year in March! I got two hogs and my wife got two as well!
I got a boat and started bowfishing throughout the spring finishing up with around 1200 fish.
I did my regular MN spring turkey hunt around the same time!
I hit up Ontario for a August bear hunt bugs were bad but managed to arrow a smaller boar!
Went to Idaho elk hunting first week of sept and was fortunate to harvest a cow!
Went to co OTC archery elk hunt and sadly hit a bull and tracked him for quite a ways but was unable to find him, good learning experience though.
Then I did a muley and antelope combo hunt and was able to shoot a 167 muley and 15 inch antelope!
I guided my 12 year old brother to his first deer with a bow special experience I will never forget!
I shot my bonus tag in MN!
I did a Canada duck trip with my wife and younger brother very slow ended up with a 30 ducks or so!
I guided my dad and brother for the first time out west to a couple respectable antelope 14 and 14 7/8ths!
Did a MO archery deer hunt with my wife and it was slow but shot an ok 8.
Took my younger brother out west and shot another decent muley right at 158! He missed a couple does unable to fill up his doe tag.
My wife shot a deer on public with her bow in MN in December.
Took my wife out on a muley hunt and she shot her first buck.
I then filled my tag on a nice 164 3/3.
Filled my tag with a late season muzzy buck!
Went to New Mexico on a landowner elk tag after Christmas very disappointed, never saw an elk.
Just finished up the season on an OK public archery hunt, no deer but hog and coyote!
Had a great year and great times, learning a lot and becoming a better hunter. I need to work on my elk hunting skills though! Now it's time to work before a couple spring hog hunts, spring bear, and bowfishing!
