Thank you all for the comments. Already have a good idea of where I want to be next year in the quest for quiet places, and can't wait to start poking around come spring.

And yes, I really enjoy that she comes out with me. She had a 3rd season tag, but we were only able to get out for one day. We were around elk, but not in them. She had a blast though, and wants to get a tag again next year.
