One day from departure and........F'n Kidney Stones. Just I got into work this morning at about 5:45 I started getting some dull pain in my right kidney area and I hoped it wasn't what I thought it was. I have Kidney Stones several times and there are brutal. We finished our morning work and I rolled home Code 3 for some meds. Meds are on board now and going to doctor this afternoon to replenish my supply. Nothing much to do with Kidney Stones other than pain management.
So nothing changing for me, leaving tomorrow morning.
Yee Haw. Some buck is going to take a dirt nap and we get to watch! The horses, the camp, the stalks, the high-country!!!!!!!! I'll get fired over this one.
Kebler, all the best to you, too, as you head to NV. I hope you didn't have to sleep in the truck.
Damn Doug... I hope the pain pills really work for you... that could be a miserable horse ride.
Take the pain out on a monster mule deer! Good luck you guys.
The Kidney Stones are painful to say the least. I replenished my meds with my doctor today, so I am good to go. Hopefully, they work their way out in the next couple of days.
On another note, I got a call from Ed. F (Bowuntr) today with some bad news. He is going to be unable to go because of some unforeseen family obligations that he had to attend to. Ed will be sorely missed on this trip. He spots game as well as anyone and he is not afraid to load up our packs and venture deeper into the wilderness if needed.
So it will just be Bret and I making the trip. It will still be a great trip, but Ed will be missed.
So just getting on the road. Threw up twice this morning and the stones still moving around in me. This will be an interesting trip if they with me the entire time.
