Selling my beloved 2006 Double cab which I’m sure I will regret. This truck has been nothing but bulletproof and reliable since I bought it in June of 2022, but my kids keep growing and I am needing to up size.

Basic info:

2006, 4.7, 283k miles, water pump and timing belt were done at 195k. Recent maintenance includes a brand new radiator, New Nexen Roadian 10 plys, new rear brakes. I have changed the oil personally religiously since I got it every 6500 miles.

Custom steel front and rear bumpers. A warne winch will be included but the motor needs to be remounted, after I removed it while re-bending my bumper after catching the front corner last year hunting.
Color matched topper with LED lights.
Weathertec floor mats.

The main bummer on this truck is that the previous owners dog decided he loved the taste of leather seats and ate the shit out of the passenger seat, and then one of my dogs also developed a taste, so to put it lightly, the seats are hammered, seat covers would solve all issues but it’s worth noting.

Valve cover gaskets weep a bit of oil but never makes it to the ground as it burns off before it drips. I normally find myself about 1/2 quart low from the oil I replaced when I change oil. Not worth fixing to me, but also worth noting.

Front end squeaks like most trucks with 280k, but no alignment issues and I’ve maintained the front end since I’ve owned it.

The climate control center needs about an hour of attention to correctly hook up the cables to adjust the blower settings, as it’s stuck on defrost. Blows cold AC and heat just fine and it’s not uncomfortable but it would be an improvement.

Overall just a bomber truck that I should keep but find myself needing to sell. I’d trust it to drive my family across the country and back right now.

I will get more pics up once I’ve cleaned it out.

$8200.

One of the best trucks ever made, I've got the same one except 2005 and it's been the best truck I've owned, the perfect size 4 door in my opinion.

Agreed Randy, they knocked it out of the park with these trucks. I should probably try to find a way to keep it. My minions aren’t getting any smaller and the feet seem to be hitting the front seats harder every day…

For my asking price I will buy you a new set of Carhartt material seat covers for the front and rear seats, or take it as is for $7500.

I’d love to have a fellow hunter have this truck rather than some shit bird kid that thinks it’s a race truck.

Your wife might like you a little more when you bring this truck home… perfect Father’s Day gift to yourself too!
