Just bought a 2004 Tundra Double Cab and am now in search of a topper for it. Would anyone happen to have one or know of someone getting rid of one? I live in Billings MT but am willing to travel a reasonable distance. Thanks!

No help in the search. I found one that didn't match my truck so I had it Rhino Lined, it was cheaper than paint and 5 years later it looks pretty much the same as the day it was applied.

I would suggest Facebook Marketplace since that is basically the new "craigslist". Just did a quick search in your area and there are quite a few. I don't know if they are your color or not, but it's worth a check if you haven't looked.

I saw a great YouTube video of a guy that did something similar? But I believe he used a roll on bed liner though. Looked great

Those are darned tough to find. If you locate one in decent shape that's <$1,000, consider moving on it. I went with a new one for my fisrt generation access cab and paid >$3,000 for it.

Ive been looking, trust me. Nothing so far that fits specific to the 2004 double cab, lots of tundra toppers for the 2nd gen trucks tho, which will not fit

Man I am struggling to find a topper for my 17’ Tacoma. People that buy them, keep them. Forever. Just keep a eye on fb marketplace and be ready to buy fast is all I can suggest

I have a Jason/factory lid from a 2008 Tacoma, short-bed. Dark blue. I got the truck with 5,000 miles on it and it had the lid from the factory. About a year later I got a cap to fit more duck/goose gear and made deer hunting with my friend a lot easier on week-long trips. Still have it for cheap but I'm in south central PA.

I bought one four years ago for my tundra, wasn’t the right color, so I found a website that color matched auto paint in rattle cans. Painted it that way and did a two part rattle can automotive clear coat, paid $500 for the topper and still looks just as good as the day I did it, even after sitting outside the past few years

I've been looking for one for my 2016 Tundra Double Cab. There are definitely more of them available out there for the short-bed crew cab than for the 6.5' bed. I've also seen more of them in CO for that first and second gen than the third gen which I need.

Just sent you a PM. I’ve got one but it’s rough and I’m in KC. Back up option for you potentially.
