They've killed them, just not in those numbers in one spot. My understanding is they were in the "fatten up" lots. No place to go in there. Terrible heat wave and once they started going-- it's dominoes.

That's not to say we don't have REAL problems now, with more coming. Just ask parents who were relieved when Abbott got it's formula plant back up. It's closed again--for weeks.

It was heat combined with above normal humidity that got those cattle. The combination of those two things this early in the year killed cattle that were not adapted to it. I believe that there are many nefarious things happening in this country currently but this was not one of them. Guys that work out year round constantly talk about going to altitude early to acclimate. Why is it hard to believe that when an animal that is on the edge of outgrowing their lung capacity is suddenly hit with record temps and humidity and no wind to move that humidity that there wont be losses. This is a very extreme case.

Is there a food shortage coming? Looks like it. But a fraction of a percent of the nations cattle dead in an event that isn't super uncommon, isn't the harbinger that you think it is. And then on top of that, to think it's some type of master plan for world control....yeah, my head is in the sand here.

Black cattle, crowded pens, no shade, sudden super-high heat indices...

Yes, in feedlots with 1000's of fat cattle you get lots dying because of the heat. In smaller lots, producers will work like hell to water down the cattle & hopefully not lose as many. Happens ALL. THE. TIME.

There's no water poisoning, or government coverup or any damn thing...
