$200 back at Eurooptic

They definitely aren’t as good as cash, but better than nothing. REI, sportsman’s warehouse, and Scheels are probably the best for us hunters.
Yup. I use Ace, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and EBay a lot too. Sometimes they change and you have to wait for good stores to come back. And lot everyone has access to the same redemption options.

It’s variable for sure. Around Christmas, the cash back amounts were very high (at one point 37% or max of $1000 at Scheels). Kicking myself for not buying my thermal then.

I combined this with the paypal 20% back and got 57% back on some stuff.... I wish I needed something more expensive, but was able to get some christmas gifts!

I agree. In some cases though the Capital One rewards are ridiculously good and worth getting over say a few percent cash back like at Active Junky.

Whoa, that's awesome!

I'll be ready for the next big cash back offer. I've had the Swaro STC on my radar for quite a while, so hoping I can get a deal before my Dall sheep hunt in Aug.

Also - for the $80 referral. There are some stipulations. The "friend" you refer has to regularly use the capital one app, not just a one time purchase. Not quite sure how many transactions over time is needed, but it's not a quick $80.

It said that you had to “regularly use it for 90 days” and that your friend will be able to see your progress. Also says that the capital one extension tracks all your activity including credit card numbers and passwords. I stopped at signing up right there.IMG_2040.png

For some like myself it is just "promotion" to attract some. When you can search and find some deals as good! I am one that prefers to keep me "private" - get enough spam as it is do not need any more. But some a % and think it is a deal. Good luck. Do use paypal got burn so do not see any advantage? And some wonder how their email gets hacked??? I pay a little more and not get inundated with spam & scams... And some wonder why they get so much more as to emails and offers that don't pan out like the paypal that was a limited time offer.
No Thanks..
KE.

Is this a 1 time thing or a regular occurring promo? For instance I put a tikka in my cart. Going to buy it regardless. Got an offer for spend $50 get $50 back from cap 1. Just curious if I use this offer will I get another one in the following weeks/months or is that the only one you get?

Not sure but it may not work on firearms anyway.

Yeah Capitol one gives you gift cards. I try and compare Active Junky, my miles card program and Capitol One and use whichever has the best deal at the retailer I am looking at. Sometimes One is way better and sometimes not. Capitol One had 30% back as Sheels a few weeks back so that was way better than what Active Junky had.
Usually the capital one rewards offers will cap it at a certain point ie 30% back up to $500 or whatever. But every once in awhile they won’t cap it. I capitalized on this in a truly insane manner last summer when scheels was doing one of their 5x point events. I bought a pair of NL pure 14x52 at retail price on my scheels visa. With the scheels rewards this ended up being about a $200 gift card from them. And then I think I got $1150 from capital one rewards. I waited for awhile until capital one offered scheels gift cards and then cashed them in. So I all I got about $1350 in scheels gift cards. The funniest part is that I then decided I wanted to go with 12x42 rather than 14x52 so I returned those binos but I got to keep the gift cards hahaha. The only problem is now I am way in the negative points to cap one rewards but honestly it was worth it
