Thought it would be fun see what gun and what ammo. 100 yards. This was 4 groups of 5 rounds.
.308, TL3 action, Bartlein barrel, chambered by LRI
168g TMK loaded with Varget, ADG brass
*only charted 9 shots to establish the boarder.

I like this idea, here’s my submission,
4 groups of 5
7mm08, TL3, Bartlein barrel chambered by Phoenix Custom Rifles, PVA Cayugas over H4350, Maven RS1.2, TBAC Ultra 7, Shot off bipod/rear bag.

I called the high left shot when it happened, lost concentration and changed pressure on the gun. No excuses, so included it anyway.

That is pretty impressive
Something that impressed me today was this group of admittedly only 12 shots from a bog standard 22 arc ruger American with a nasty trigger, hunting scope and cheap ass 75 gn HPBT hand loads

@Pickettpuncher @Reburn @TheCougar when you guys say “tikka” is that a tikka action with aftermarket barrel, or is that a oem tikka barrel?

None of my tikkas have ever shot a sub moa 20-round group. Best Ive done is the very occasional 10-round group thats barely 1moa. Yes, I’m jealous! 😁

Factory tikka RSS.
Only threaded not cut down so still around 21" with thunder beast ultra 7 223 (they used to make a 223 only can)
Factory black hills 556 77gr TMK ammo.
Sportsmatch rings. SWFA 3-9
In a mesa precision stock.

It’s astounding how well this stuff shoots

I have gotten where all my gas guns are wylde barrels. If the gun doesnt like the black hills 1.5" or less I just ditch the gun honestly. The black hills 69 sierra match kings is usually great ammo thats easy to shoot too.

223: Tikka T3X chopped with Scythe. In B&C stock. Soon to be in a Rokstok. Maven scope. Hornady Black ammo 75BTHP. Honestly, I can shoot better than that. My 10 round groups are typically a shade under 1 MOA. I was having mirage issues which opened it up a little.

Factory tikka 223 compact. It doesn’t shoot the best, but it will do moa occasionally with 10 shot groups.

ETA, it is threaded with a scythe.

I gave up trying to find factory ammo loaded with that. I found that Hornady black and it shorts so well I moved on with my life. It starts to open up past 400 yards though. I think that’s pretty common though, and happens regardless of the ammo in a 223.
