Tossing around the idea of trading this prior to having it rebarreled next year.
Kimber Montana (Yonkers rifle) in 300 wsm. Barrel has been cut to 20” and threaded 1/2-28 by Mark at Radix precision. Warne split bases are bedded with Locktite black. Titanium bolt handle, allow trigger guard. Stock has been painted with rapco. Bare muzzle the rifle weighs 7.58 pounds with the maven RS1.2 and Warne hyper light rings. Bare rifle with no optic or rings weighs 5 pounds 12.6 ounces. Extremely handle rifle and shoots very well. Pictured target is 400 yards with 180 Berger elite hunters. Pic rail has been added to the fore end and the barrel channel was sanded out a bit to ensure free float. Montana action is smooth and the trigger is excellent.
Not looking to sell outright at the moment. Looking to trade for a tikka t3x (stainless preffered) in 6.5 saum, 25 saum, 25 prc, 280 AI possibly, 6 UM 30. Will consider 6.5 prc, however I was wildly disappointed in the speeds I got from my last tikka. 20” barrel preferred. If the action has been lightened or nitrided that is a bonus.
Depending on the trade I can include the thermal I have posted here to up the value. May be able to add a bit of cash depending. Let me know what you have.
I do have dies and lapua brass that would go with the rifle.
