Mossberg makes some super cheap 20ga youth models FYI. One of the guys in the turkey thread picked one up for himself.

I don’t have one available but my son started with a 1100lt in a youth config. Great thing about these is that they can grow with your son.

Don't know what your budget is but Browning makes a micro Midas shotgun. Not cheap but going to fit a girl. Bought a BT99 for my daughter in a micro Midas. Worked well until she outgrew it.
