Has anyone heard anything about a possible fixed power 1x riflescope coming from any manufacturers in the near future? I have the vortex 1x on muzzy, and it gets the job done. I wouldn’t bet my life on it, but I did manage to take a buck at 166 yards last year it was like looking through a toilet paper tube. I know leupold makes a red dot with a dial, but personally I’m not a huge fan of red dots. I would love for a legit manufacturer (NF, SWFA, trijicon, maven exc.)to make a 1x fixed power. They would have lots of customers from people hunting in Washington and Utah.

Any 1x scope is going to have that tunneling effect - I used a cheap Traditions 1x on my muzzy for several seasons and it got the job done.

If trijicon made a 1x hunting acog with an exposed elevation turret…

I have experience with the leupold rds with the exposed turret. The one I shot worked great out to 600y or so. This was mounted on a paramount. If you want to dial elevation in Utah the rds is the best option imo. I wish there were more robust options on the market. Even an MRO with a turret would be great.

I thought I say an MRO with a turret, but I think it’s a 2 moa dot, leupolds would probably be better with the 1 moa dot. Right on, 600 yards is a poke with that set up.
