going to purchase 1st suppressor. Will be used for hunting deer. Want a 30 cal to go between a ruger American gen 2 in .243 for my 4 daughters (oldest currently 8) and to put it on my tikka t3 in .270
The options I have narrowed down to are the enticer S, STi, LTi, omega 300, AB raptor 8, Scythe Ti
Don’t want to exceed the 1K for the suppressor. Given that it’s more for my kids I want to focus more on sound (especially fist round pop) and recoil suppression more so than weight/length since it’s going to be a lot of pop-up/man made blinds that don’t require more than a 1/2 mile walk at most.
Even though weight/length are not my top priority, it is still a concern which has made me want to avoid things like the hydrogen L Or heavier cans like the enticer L
The omega and enticer S are appealing for the price point, while it seems the LTi is the best bang for the buck for sound and recoil suppression. I like the Raptor 8 since it can be a lighter suppressor without the reflex, but with the reflex added it on, I can make it better from a standpoint of recoil and sound reduction. However the raptor is a little more spendy.
The skythe Ti is appealing for how light and short it is, although I’m not sure it worth the extra money compared to the STi.
