Nightforce SHV 3-10 or Trijicon credo 2.5-15x42What are you buying if you have a 6.5 prc element ?
I have that scope on my 280AI and have been really impressed with it so far. I am an MOA guy, so the whole MRAD thing is a little weird to me, but I am powering through.Eurooptic has the 3-18x tenmile for $740. I don’t have personal experience but based on reviews on this form, it would be hard to beat for that price.
That's a different scope than form reviewed, the one on sale is the hx second ffp version.Eurooptic has the 3-18x tenmile for $740. I don’t have personal experience but based on reviews on this form, it would be hard to beat for that price.
the demo zeiss was 200$ cheaper from red hawke rifles so that pushed me in that direction. i think i paid 899+ shippingThat’s a tough decision, bojangles808. Both are good scopes. How much does each run?
It is, but that is like saying Form reviewed the NF NX8 4-32 F1, so the 4-32 F2 is not as reliable or the NX8 2.5-20 isn’t reliable.. Trijicon uses the same glass and guts in their Tenmile lineup, which is different from the credo line. We all recognize it is a sample of one, but its tough to pass the test, so the fact that one did is impressive. That's a different scope than form reviewed, the one on sale is the hx second ffp version.
I don’t think is a totally fair. You can definitely buy a “good” scope for $1,000 —especially when you consider demo or used models. You have a $2,600 Seekins Element? And you have a $1,000 scope budget?
Based on the info given, I'd sell the rifle, buy a good scope (you can't upgrade scopes), and buy a budget rifle that you can incrementally upgrade as you go.
