1976 Marlin 444S
Minty condition with fantastic wood
Excellent blueing
Excellent bore
I traded for this rifle just a year ago, because after buying a 336 in 35Rem in Dec of 2021, IIMG-1363.jpgIMG-1364.jpgIMG-1340.jpgIMG-1367.jpgIMG-1368.jpgIMG-1342.jpgIMG-1366.jpgIMG-1348.jpgIMG-1352.jpg thought I just had to have a pre lock Marlin in 444S. I realize now, that at my age I will probably never hunt this rifle. It needs to go to a new home, where it will be used as it should, not sit in the safe.
Buyer has first chance at 55 rounds of factory Hornady 265 grain FP's, a box of 100 Hornady 265 grain 44cal FP bullets, and a set of RCBS dies. The 55 rounds came with the rifle, and I picked up the bullets and dies thinking I would reload for this, but never did. I will not sell ammo or components until rifle sells, and buyer declines on components.

$1350 shipped for rifle with picatinney rail. Shipped to your FFL from me, a non FFL. Add $60 if it has to ship from my FFL.
$300 for ammo, bullets and dies.
Only trades I would be interested in would me a Kimber mountain ascent or Kimber Montana in 30-06, or possibly another sub 5.5lb mountain rifle depending on what it is.

First Public "I'll take it" followed by a PM will take the rifle. If I forgot something let me know, and thanks for looking.

For Florida residents I would do a FtoF sale for $1250 on the rifle and $250 on ammo and components. I would travel as far north as Tampa and south to Naples.
