18” 300WSM Berger

Looking for feedback terminal/reloading on Berger options for my current build.

168 HVLD, 168 Hybrid, 180 EH, 185 Jugg’s

Build is 18” 300wsm 10 twist short action TL3. Will run the non binder AICS mags and keep COAL under 3.0.

im running a 20" wsm. I played with the 180 bergers but settled on 178gr eldx
64.5gr H4350 im at 2920fps. So you should be around 2875fps with 180's
I've always just found accurate loads with book COAL for 300wsm.
H4350 for 180's and under
H100V for over 180's seem to work, H4831SC has always been a accurate powder in all the 300wsm I've loaded for but will be a little slower.
If you want to make up some speed try out SUPERFORMANCE. i was getting 3020fps with 178's but havent had time to revisit it.

The 168 hybrid has my attention with such a short bearing surface for speed and if it acts anything like the 215H…

Still with the gunsmith but hopefully getting close. Bought the DTAC nose ring tool. Going to test 185 juggs and 168 HT.

I have an 18inch 300wsm I need to start loading for.

Just found out it was ready today. Will share load work up when I get time.

I have a bunch of load data for a 20” WSM. 180 Elite hunters with H4831sc, 200.20x with RL23, and 215 with H4350.

Right now pushing 215s @ 2740 with H4350. It’s a hammer

Made up 10 break in rounds and getting very excited. Very first 3 shots touching, not a surprise though, everything WTO has built me shoots lights out. After break in I am going to chase speed with 185 juggs and N555 in ADG brass.

gotta say that is a good looking rifle! but man is that stock heavy!
