177 hammer hunter in 8 twist rifles

Anyone having luck with these at 3k ish fps? A friend of mine sent me some pics of a target keyholing from his 28 noz. I have never loaded or shot one personally.

Have him check the actual twist in his rifle. It's not uncommon for them to be not as advertised.

Short of that have him reach out to hammer to get their thoughts.

I did mention the twist and to verify velocity. I've never played with the hammers myself. Everything I have read shows excellent results.
