I recently stumbled across some 7mm 170gr Terminal Ascents, and was unable to resist to compulsion to buy... Hi. My name is Saluki 91 and I have a problem.
My rationale was that these might make a useful heavy load for the .280AI that I have being built. I understand that Federal loads them in 7 PRC, but I thought they might make good elk medicine for a .280 AI (at reasonable distances).
Has anyone ever loaded these in .280 AI? If so, how deep did you seat them? They seem quite long, and I'm concerned that they will eat up powder capacity.
