I'm headed to Kodiak this spring to chase brownies. My Sako 300WM loves Barnes TTSX 165gr shooting sub 1/2"MOA and I'm super confident with them. I've tried a number of other larger weight ammunition ranging from 190-215gr in Partitions, Swift's, Hornady Outfitters, Accubonds & Federal Terminal Ascent. The 2nd best grouping is from the Federal Terminal Ascent but its not near the same accuracy at the same distances. I guess I'm looking for some opinions on whether to Choose Accuracy & the smaller weight Bullet, over a larger slightly less accurate bullet. I'm leaning towards the 165's just because of my confidence level.

I would guess you're gonna be about 3100 fps w/ 165g and 2800fps w/ 200g. That said both will do the job because I assume you be sub 600 yards

Accuracy always wins. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades
