I’ve got a model 70 featherweight xtr that I’m shooting 117gr spire points in, but I think they are Sierra, and not hornady. With IMR 4831 they’re running just under 2800fps and shooting under an inch at 100 yards.
I’ll be loading a friends Ruger M77 with them soon. Have a box and plan to start with H4350 possibly Superformance.
Most of the 115 class bullet loads I saw used H4350
My dad has a Ruger Hawkeye chambered in .257 Bob and he had a lot of success with the 117gr SSTs. He has now loved to the 80gr TTSX because he wanted a dual purpose Deer and coyote bullet.
I have no doubt that the 117 Interlocks will perform just as well as the SSTs.
