10x NF SHV vs NXS illumination?

Hi, going to scope a 6.5 prc build. I really like the center illumination of the 3-10 SHV, but overall prefer the features of NXS. How useable is the full reticle illumination on the 2.5-10 NXS? Thank you

I don't find the reticle to be overly bright on the nxs moar. Perfect usable

I have several of the MOAR NXS scopes on my primary hunting rifles, so far I've never needed them lit up since the reticle IMHO is pretty easy to see during most hunting conditions. If I ever need it I can adjust how bright it is so there's that.

I much prefer the SHV adjustable style of illumination.

No experience with the NXS but I just put a SHV on a 6.5 prc and really like it. The illumination is more than usable, I don’t see myself ever needing it on max illumination but halfway it should do everything I need it to and more. I looked at the NXS as well but got such a killer deal on the SHV I couldn’t pass it up.

Thank you, I have owned the shv and really liked they illumination center only. If it had zero stop I would not be looking the nxs. With this build I think I will extending my ran and lack of zero stop vs the full illumination is the question.
