I have a 6.5 creedmor 29in barrel xlr element 4 chassis, have had a lot of problems with the chassis coming loose shifting zero.

I want to build a long action rifle for target. for windy days or 1000-2000 yards. Might have skipped this rifle when building the 375 I have.

looking at 7/300 norma or 300 norma I want to keep it under a 30in barrel and lighter then 30lbs mag fed repeater.

I have a 300prc hunting rifle that weighs 9lbs but it hard to shoot 100 rounds or more out of that gun

Clean and degrease your action screws and screw holes. Reassemble with the proper torque, blue loctite, and a bit of nail polish on the screw heads.

That will solve the issue of them coming loose.

As for the rest of your post, I can't help you because all I shoot are sissy guns.

Do you have a budget in mind? If it were me I’d get an AI AXSR or Barrett MRAD. Plenty heavy, quick change barrels, and good platforms overall for that type of thing.

300 NMI with 230 A-tips and H1000 would be a good option. You can have them near the lands and mag feed them with the right freebore.

85gr. H1000 would give you about 3000fps out of a 28in barrel

I was thinking of building this rifle either 30/338 lupa or 300 norma imp

looking at either burger 245 long rang hybrid at around 3100 or faster

Manners ELR light stock reuse my current la action 30in bartline barrel straight tapper

would that make a good 2000yard gun

I might have made this gun too big 40in barrel and weight around 36lbs or more.

I want something between 6.5 creedmor and the 375
