Hey all. I have a ruger 10/22 and want to swap the barrel for a threaded option to run a suppressor. I already have the suppressor. What threaded barrels do you all recommend? 1/2x28 threads.

I got an acculite thats been a very decent shooter.

Tactical Solutions X-Ring SBX barrel. You get to run it suppressed and keep your 16” barrel length.
I would have gotten that one, if the 16" Faxon pencil barrel hadn't been on sale for $100ish at Brownells. It shoots great and is stupid light, but the length with a 4" can is annoying.

Another vote for Tac Sol. I have one on my 10-22 and one on my Charger. Both shoot lights out.

This is a 5-shot group that I shot at 100 yards with the Charger from a prone position using only my front hand as a rest and not allowing the rear grip to touch the ground (so as to be legal for IHMSA competition). For context, that is a 1/10 scale IHMSA ram target (AIR size), which measures 2.67" tall and 3.23" wide.

The easy button for 10/22 is Volquartsen and TS. I've got a neighbor who just picked up an IS bull barrel for his 45/22 Ruger pistol and has one on order for his 10/22. After trying the 45/22 side by side against my suppressed 45/22 I'm gonna have to spend some money...

I just put the SBX on my TacSol. Love it. Would get one for my wife's, but they don't offer the sapphire blue finish anymore. I might call them, they did do a special run sapphire Buck Mark barrel for me a few years ago...

FYI, I got my setup built. Haven't shot it yet but looking forward to trying it this weekend. Kidd 20" fluted barrel, Stock bolt, stock trigger housing with volquartzen internals plus Kidd bolt release and mag release. Pretty tame Magpul stock and a factory blem Leupold 3 x 9 rimfire scope from Europtic. Great deal on the scope and I could not see a single mark on it. Picked up a Spartan M-loc adapter for my Javelin. I am 58 and have had the 10 22 since I was under 10 years old. As much as I put into it parts wise, I could just pick up a few things and put it back to stock and have a whole new rifle. I did hone up the bolt a bit and clean up the action but hope it's a shooter. Now to find a suppressor for it.

Sorry to hijack but didn't want to start a whole new 10 22 thread. Now I have something to shoot grouse with in CO....lol. Actually have a 22 45 for that. :)1022update.jpg
