First of all, thanks for all the information people on the site were willing to give. Drawing a tag is the hardest part, harvesting a goat is second hardest. I was able to do both.
Not much to say other than scouting and relatives helping you complete the task.
If anyone draws 10-2 in Idaho and wants some information, send me a note. More than willing to pass it along. Good luck out there!

For some reason I had it in my head that they closed that hunt, glad that's not the case.

Beautiful billy, and some of God's finest country. Congrats!
 
Gorgeous goat!

I’m chasing them in Idaho this year as well. Trying hard to wait until Oct to hunt but his coat looks great!
 
Finally got back from elk hunting to add some information.
IDFG aged him at 9. Biggest base is 6". Longest horn is 9 7/16".
Rough gross green score is 49. We will see what he will go once he dries out.
I am extremely happy!

Did you guys backpack in or take horses?
