10-2 Idaho Goat

Not much of a story teller so I thought I’d just post some pics of my 2018 Collins Creek goat hunt with my dad and 2 good friends. Probably the best hunt/Fish/backpacking trip I’ll ever be a part of. Shot him on September 29th and he had really great hair. Spotted him about an hour before dark and decided to put him to bed and go after him In the morning. With about 15 minutes of daylight left we watched a bear chase him and another LARGER billy out of their beds and trail them for a bit. Luckily they circled back around and we’re close to the same spot the next morning. 280 yard shot and he didn’t roll thank god. Btw goat meat tastes amazing.
