Looking to swap out the heavy scope on one of my rifles to a more lightweight scope. Love the Area 419 rings I've got, but they're 30mm, and the ultralight scope I'm eyeing has a 1" tube. LaRue makes Delrin inserts to run 1" inside 30mm, just not sure what type of potential issues this might introduce. Anyone have any experience with this? The rifle is a mountain hunting setup for <400 yards only.
