Let me clear the air, I am not just starting 1 month out, I weight and cardio train year round. Dedicated myself to weight loss the last year and am down 40 pounds. I was inquiring if people change their program the close they get to season.
I personally don't add any weight a month out. More weight = more risk for injury and an injury is the last thing you want before a hunting trip.
30 pounds is a great weight. You could go up to 50 once a week, just so your hips and shoulders know how it feels, but its not necessary to do any more than that.
