1/4 bore 130ish gr eldm

I’ve heard rumors of Hornady throwing around the idea of a high BC 25 floating around the 130 gr.
Is there any truth to this?

Would be good, but Ill never know as my twist deficient tikka wont let me know the power and the glory that heavy .25s could provide. Too many other projects going to do a rebarrel on a gun that smokes 110 ABs.

Where did you hear this? Thanks to blackjack there are quite a few 1-7/7.5 barrels out there now. I’d love to see hornady jump in the game. .257PRC with 130’s would be stupid good

Over heard people talking about it at the gun shop here in Utah. I have the 131 blackjacks for my 25 PRC, I love the eldm’s for my 280ai and 6.5cm.
Would be nice to see hornady eldm’s for my 25 that we’re close to the blackjacks. Just trying to see if any one else has heard those rumors or are they just that

If Hornady did, and Berger did, that would be the sign we've been waiting for. I guess I'm just old now, but I'm not building a 7.5 twist 257 with only one bullet on the market. Funds are set aside for a 257 WBY once they get some bullets out.

Even when Berger and hornady do come out with a heavy 25cal, I’d bet my lunch neither will out perform the ACE bullet in BC
