    Have yet to see a rattler in Wyoming as well - I know they are there and have been in early-mid September. Having two sets of eyes would be more advantageous for spotting if you did bump into one. I would not worry enough to not bring her, what an incredible experience for her and you!

    Given your physical limitations this past season I would say that is a huge win and trophy no matter the size. Can't beat having a freezer full of antelope meat, congrats!

    I stand corrected. I was thinking NM with a later antelope draw date, but it is Montana that has a late date for their draw (you do not find out about rifle until August). Been looking at too many states over the last few days lol.

    Antelope draw in NM is later is it not? If the season dates do not conflict I would put in for both. Could find yourself having two awesome hunts if lucky in the NM draw. You can find a decent hunt for 5 points if willing to go in the special draw for WY. Look for units with walk on areas etc...

    This year just NM and MT. Waiting to build more points in certain PP states. If I am fortunate enough to draw it would be my first elk hunt. I am well versed in hunting moose, elk will be a new challenge.
