Sig Kilo8K ABS vs CRF Pro

No, I decided to wait for this fall to see if anything better is released.

    Maven S.2 vs Vortex 13-39 x 56?

I was comparing the specs and reviews on these two spotters a few months ago and decided to pull the trigger on the Maven since I couldn't find the 13-39 straight version at the time. Even though the Maven hasn't left the house yet, I'm having a little buyer's remorse about only having 27x...

Sig Kilo8K ABS vs CRF Pro

Anyone know the country of origin on the Kilo8K?

Sig Kilo8K ABS vs CRF Pro

That is really disappointing about the pin drop feature. I guess it eliminates the need to subscribe to OnX.

Sig Kilo8K ABS vs CRF Pro

I found on OnX is only $30/year, so that's not too bad. Still concerned about the optics on the Kilo8k a bit. Sig customer service told me their best glass is on the kilo6k binos. Have you had a chance to use the included wind meter with your Sig?

    Leica CRF Pro Rangefinder

I really, really wanted to choose the CRF Pro over the Sig Kilo8k. I have an ancient LRF1200 that still does it's primary job of ranging. And it uses a 9V battery too. Seems like just so many inconsistent problems with the Leica CRF PRO. If you are using alpha glass (NL Pure) how bad is the...

Rangefinders that sync with GoHunt or OnX

Sorry to revive an old thread... Can anyone confirm the Sig Kilo8K ABS will connect to mapping software that does not require a paid subscription? Like Google Maps?

Sig Kilo8K ABS vs CRF Pro

Help. I need to choose between these two rangefinders. Price is not one of the criteria (buy once cry once). I have read dozens of posts here and on other sites. I cannot find many (really any) detailed reviews of the CRF PRO (too new?). Things I want: Monocular format, not binos Great glass...

Ladder Stand Stakes for Oval Tubing?

No one uses stakes to set up their ladder stands? Or am I in the wrong forum?

Heater Body Suit still the best for cold stands?

Spot on about a relatively short walk (but steep hill) to/from where I have my ladders stand. I don't understand about the IWOM bottom falling down. Is it a two piece suit? I was planning to carry any kind of full body suit and put it on at the stand.

Heater Body Suit still the best for cold stands?

WOW! That would be awesome. Assuming they are out of production? Or just very limited?

Heater Body Suit still the best for cold stands?

@ScottinPA Thank you. I was concerned about overheating, especially on the walk back. It is not that far but it is up a pretty steep grade.

Ladder Stand Stakes for Oval Tubing?

Hello, I just purchased a Hawk Sasquatch 1.5 man 21' stand. It is constructed with Oval tubing. I thought it would be helpful to have a pair of the treestand stakes (a few makers our there) to help stand it up against the tree. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any for oval tubing...

Heater Body Suit still the best for cold stands?

Thanks @Bump79. Not sure 4hrs will cut it. I was on stand for 7 hours one day (19°F) and wanted to stay longer but could not. I had 2 layers plus a coverall. How long do the heated batteries last? Thinking I would need socks and gloves heated too.

Heater Body Suit still the best for cold stands?

Hello, Considering buying the Heater Body Suit on a friend's recommendation for a way to beat the December cold in Massachusetts while on stand. I will be in a ladder stand (Hawk Sasquatch 1.5, 21'). After a fair amount of 'google research' it seems the HBS is still the warmest option for...
