    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

Yes I am going to make sure of it. Thinking about getting a shirt made, "Ask me about my sheep hunt in Alberta"

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

So I did extensive in person research and spoke to people who have hunted in that area with the outfitter that owned the tags before the outfitter that I went with. Both got sheep and raved about the area. All the outfitters at the shows boast about their kill rate being 50% five years I have...

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

That’s the issue! It is not 50/50 but that is what is being told to all the hunters coming from out of country! The outfitters need to be honest about the odds! It’s about 8% over the last two years of the outfitter I went with!

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

I hope you all get to hunt them forever. The word needs to be out about these outfitters as I said at the beginning of this post. The states down here are screwed when it comes to tags for sheep. I have been putting in for over ten years and I probably will not see a tag before I am 75 and I am...

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

Hi I have never heard of a land owner tag in Colorado nor would I know how or who to contact. With guys buying governors tags for 500K you'd think that more people would know how to go down that road. Any info would be appreciated!

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

Good morning, I agree with all you've said. You guys have a great thing there. Maybe what I am trying to point out will help you. I just want to point out how outfitters are misleading the foreign hunters, almost to the point of it being an unethical sales presentation. They all tell us the odds...

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

I didn’t think so at first till someone else made a comment. This wasn’t a Dall hunt. No I did not look at BC but will. Too many people are pushing Alberta for Rocky and while it may have been good pre covid it is not the place to go. It’s my opinion and we all know what that is! We all got one...

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

So I guess I was a bit gullible responding to your comment in a nice way. There are always trolls I guess. Let me be clear. I’m not a newcomer to this game or hunting. I’ve gone home many times without the animal. Two Dall sheep hunts in Alaska all pack 12 days each and no sheep. I didn’t have...

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

I researched but if you do not know what to ask you can’t be informed properly. Outfitter was recommended by two friends who shot rams with outfitter but, it was the outfitter that my outfitter bought the tags/area from after he retired! Yes lots to do here but that’s planned! As for Rokslide I...

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

Not sure there’s a helicopter hunt out there for this but it won’t make game appear where there are none! Everyone that lives there is watching and shooting the legal rams long before we get there!

    Alberta Bighorn Outfitter Recommendation

Good morning all, I literally just got back from Rocky sheep in the Willmore Wilderness Park three days ago with an outfitter mentioned in this thread. I am pretty disappointed with the whole Alberta process and animals. DO NOT GO TO ALBERTA FOR ROCKY unless you want to go 2 to 3 times or more...
