Would slightly prefer the B1.2, but would gladly make my peace with either optic. If anyone wants to move these on, let me know your price. I will pay shipping. Can pay via Paypal or direct bank transfer.
For me around 35. I'd been a runner for 20 years and had never experienced it before. I couldn't get 200 metres down the road without debilitating pain. As I mentioned, was brought on by an ill-fitting combat boot. But I followed the steps I mentioned and can run pain free now.
Oh, just wanted to add that the reason PF takes so long to heal is because it is microtears in the tendon, but that tendon does not get much blood flow to it. So the alternating hot/cold packs are to stimulate blood flow to the area to assist healing.
Struggled with PF for about 6 months (induced by wearing a new boot for a month that clearly did not suit my foot). I tried to "push through" it for a time and keep running. Not a good idea. Only made things worse.
I changed my cardio away from running to cycling and intervals on the...
My experience is mostly with combat boots, however I've put some serious miles on various brands and have some thoughts:
Garmonts: Good quality, but very heavy. Leads to fatigue earlier. Don't recommend.
Bates: Fell apart in a month and ruined my feet. Do not recommend.
Merrell: Fantastic...
That's exactly where I was, but I've decided on the Mavens. Unless the reviewer here somehow got a bad copy, the central CA alone is enough to make me bin them as a choice. And we won't get more reviews/comparisons until they ship and people start getting them. Everything I have read on the...
Yeah, they're much heavier and longer than the other options. Given I want to take them on long, multi day hikes, the weight matters to me. Leaning towards either the B1.2 8x42 or the B6 10x50, depending on what magnification I settle on.
I've been DEEP DIVING shall we say on this segment of the market recently, and it looks like the Mavens or GPOs are still the ones to go for (and I'm leaning toward the Mavens due to the FOV and weight advantage).
