bino harness for compact binoculars (8x30)

I'm running the new SG Sentinel Bino Harness this season, it's a really solid design, especially the shoulder strap and the velcro wings for accessories. You can adjust the sizing on the bino pocket and lid, so this may work for your 8x30s. I have 8x42s in the Regular size and it looks like...

Whitetail pack for treestand transport+gear+meat hauler

Have you looked at the Kifaru Shape Charge? 2000 ci with multiple compression straps and molle. Add a panel (Sherman pocket) and I'm guessing you could easily pack in your gear and pack out game bags. For packs I use a Kifaru Doorgunner to carry in my saddle, sticks, platform, kill kit, first...

    Mobile Hunting Setups

I run a Tethrd Phantom, Predator Platform and Skeletors. HYS strap and Fold N Go to hold bow and backpack (Kifaru Doorgunner). I set up a couple Lone Wolf hang ons too in permanent sopts and wear my saddle on those platforms. I find shooting from a saddle more effective for me than a hang on...

    Choosing a Dog

We are an English Setter family. I'm sorry you lost your Setter, that's tough. We had to put down our pup two years ago, but now have a 1+ year old that is starting on birds. Sounds like another Setter may not work from an allergy standpoint? That said, I do think it's the best sporting...

    Sitka Stratus

I would skip Stratus and buy a Fanatic set for late season cold weather. Highly recommend all the pieces in the Fanatic line. The Fanatic Hoody and Vest plus some base layers can help bridge the gap from early season to the rut/late season when you switch to Fanatic Jacket/Bids. Stratus is...

    Crispi Recommendations

Primarily an Eastern whitetail hunter and I run the Schnee Extreme Pac Boot for the rut (~mid November here in CT) through late season and would highly recommend these or a comparable high insulation pac boot for this type of hunting. You can add thinsulate footbeds for added warmth. I prefer...

    Your fav Darn Tough

For active hunting out West, I'd go with Boot Heavyweight Hunting regardless of temperature. I feel the thicker socks gives me a better fit on my boots (Crispi) plus extra cushion. For late season stand hunting back East I run the Over-the-Calf Heavyweight. Great product and great warranty.
