.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Again, I doubt they bounce off.. but same atmospheres and assuming 2700fps at my current atmospheres. 75bthp hits it at 365 yards The 73gr eld at 415. And I’d not crowd the 1800fps line too close with factory ammo. Pretty common to see 50es easily.

Thank you Form I’m now a mk12 believer

Yeah the a1 isn’t as good as the a2 for my use if going prone is a regular thing.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

You aren’t going to convince me that a 73gr eld-m performs way different then a 75gr a max. Ahaura guys used 73gr to cull cham, goat, deer. I doubt 75gr bthp will bounce off, but the 73gr has the same jacket thickness, meplat size and linotype as the 75gr eld-m and in real world it has a fairly...

The other small caliber (not 223 or 6creed)

Without contradicting myself I’ll try to answer You can stuff a case full of leverevolution and a 90-95gr and get 3000. I wouldn’t say easily but you should get there. Whereas factory 21” 243 95gr ammo is probably in mid 2950 or so. But we are comparing two different things. Factory neutered...

Why I would never buy a Tikka

When I got there he handed me his rifle. The next round was jammed in an upward position. The base was under the bolt face and the nose of the round was jammed in the upper receiver just forward of the loading port. No big deal right? Nope. It was jammed so solidly that nothing could be...

Overkill for a 22lr trainer. Kids did the awesome mount camp. 550$ for just the optic shipped. 600$ in the 1.93 Wilson combat mount. Prefer a check.

    Painless load development (mine)

H4350 is definitely a powder to not catch pressure and rock on like some powders. Especially if ur not 100% case fill and jumping an eld-m If you are going to run it hell or high water I’d punch the eld-m into the lands 10thou and cure a bunch of reloading ills in one fell swoop. Then catch...

The other small caliber (not 223 or 6creed)

recoils calculators are good for general use But I’m quite certain that port pop from the muzzle has more effect then recoil calculators give them credit for. On a 6creed if I run 33gr of varget at 2750 or 39gr of h4350 for 2750fps the varget has more felt recoil. It’s a higher pressure load.

The other small caliber (not 223 or 6creed)

I can’t tell the difference in recoil between a 90gr and a 105gr in a 6br. Today was shooting a 223 with 27.7gr lvr 75gr eld-m and a 30gr varget 108 6br back to back and recoil impulse is very similar. The 6br has a lighter scope and 1.5” more barrel but a slightly thicker barrel but they are...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

maybe it was Tahr or the pathfilms guy stated, but millions of kangaroos and red deer have been shot with a 55gr sp. NZ deer cullers used 55gr sp .222 Sakos to abandon. And this was coming from decades of a 303 British. Why?

What does it take to kill a grizzly?

Bingo. How much experience does the trooper out of Kotz have killing bears? But according to fudd lore he’s an expert. Whereas the average family in the NW is killing 3-4 a season. The 6.5 is starting to replace the venerable 22-250 and 243. But some guy shot one with a guide once with a 338...

Even if she’s a pear shape with a mustache, that’s hot. Now ur a little wet behind the ears when it comes to Alaska, a glorified weekend mish by the sounds of it, so we’ll accept the no pics. But don’t let it happen again. As for the rokstok, it’ll be 2025 season before mine takes a heart...

Thank you Form I’m now a mk12 believer

Can you do me a massive favor. Shoot two groups back to back and change pressures into the gun. Say one pretty heavy into the bipod and one pretty slack I seen a pretty massive shift in impact with most of my traditional style free float hand guards (urx4, mk16, mk8, bcm qrf, etc etc) The...

don’t think the loss in BC will make up for increase in velocity with the tmk. That’s assuming .245 g7 for the tmk and .275 for the 108gr.. can rerun the numbers but you’d have to exceed 2950 on the 95gr tmk to increase danger space over the 108 at 2800. the 90gr scenar has a very small...

The other small caliber (not 223 or 6creed)

108’s are so good it’s about like jumping over quarters to get nickels but if I could find a few thousand of them I’d stick a few critters with em. Other thing to chance on would be 109’s on game. Hornady podcast days are they have a different linotype so they aren’t improved 108’s but the...

Any leads on 95gr tmk? I haven’t seen any in stock for years. I’d love to fill a case with lvr and tank’s.

21” 18” and lever you’ll sniff 2800fps But to be fair I’d 20” and run an over barrel suppressor. Or run a smaller can. A 6br is a lot less blast then a 6cm naked.
