    THIS. Testing out your pack ahead of time with a planned quarter will give you a great idea what a pack out will be. Don’t spend a ton of money until you know you’re going to do it again.

    Am I the only one who hates RF pouches on Bino Harnesses?

    I’ve tried simple straps and lightweight options but wanted everything central without added pouches that flip around. This led me to a Kodiak Cub which has been good and bad. The rangefinder pouch is secure and up front but I have little discipline to not add more “stuff.”

    Hunting is the most expensive / rewarding / frustrating hobby. Have both brushed off crumbs and had newer kit at one time or another. Everybody can have their own approach and is welcome out in the mountains as you’re 15 miles from me.

    I’ve seen very little but it is great to see athletes get an opportunity on the international stage after dedicating so much time and effort to their skill. However, it is appalling to consider the IOC is ok with men beating women in the ring.
