I do this all the time. I go with a mix of OnX to find areas that will hold deer and then boots on the ground. I love wet or rainy days for doing a speed scout.
I've always used 10s for deer but am debating going with 12s that are stabilized. I figure the 2x gained, which would normally make it harder to hold steady, would be fine because it's stabilized. Anyone do this?

I've spent just about two seasons in my Tuo kit. No complaints - love the fit and the camo. Very high quality material and merino that's super soft. Big fan of the Vision hybrid - great all around jacket/sweater.
