Another Whitetail season wrapped up and we were unsuccessful (that’s the way it goes).
After a week of reflection, I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t actually enjoy the typical hunting methods for white tail in eastern Canada.
The hunt is essentially sitting in a ground or tree blind...
That’s not the first time in recent months that I’ve read about how much of a crap shoot sheep hunting in Alberta is.
I wonder if the same issues carry over into the goat hunts? Think BC is a better sheep and goat destination than AB?

With the ever increasing price of North American sheep hunts....where will the majority of these disgruntled hunters go to drop their money internationally?
Which international Ovis or Capra game will be the next Dall sheep in terms of price appreciation...
Layaway plans works well for me.
Can't afford that fancy rifle or international hunt? make payments on it until you can.
No point dropping 5-6 figures all at once something that may be booked years out.
So reading through this thread it looks like free range ibex hunts in Europe are limited to Austria, Spain and Slovenia.
Additional high fence options are available in Germany and Bulgaria.
Any others?
