Thank you very much! I just ordered two boxes in case my barrel doesn't like the 140s or 143s. My velocity will definitely be slower than yours as I'll be running a 20" barrel. Thanks again!
That's extremely helpful, thank you very much! I'm excited to have this rifle in hand. Your load data lines up really close with the Berger data. As soon as I can I'll come back with results. I'm going to be running a long action with a 3.1" mag.
Just to follow up here, I did end up going 308. To me, it seems like the best option for my needs especially since shots will be short. Thanks everyone for your help!
I know I'm bringing up a super old thread here but I was curious about the same thing especially since I already use it in my 7 SAUM. It may be a little bit fast but once my 6.5 SAUM barrel gets here I'm going to try it with some 140 VLDs and Elite hunters. I contacted Berger and they sent over...
You make a good point with that. It makes sense too especially if I can purchase enough ammo to feed them both in bulk, given they like the same ammo. I'm just at the beginning of this but, I'm sure you're right. Simple is the way.
That's fair. I currently run a 20" 223 AI/77TMK for a bunch of my daytime hogs and as a truck gun. I've thought about that a fair bit. I just thought I may want a little more as I get more comfortable with the rifle. I have a 6 Creedmoor coming already for a deer rifle, was thinking of building...
That's kinda along the same lines that I was thinking. I do think some of the Pulsars have a ranging feature but at my ranges I'm not sure I'd need it.
Hello All,
Wanted to pick your brains about a thought I had here. I'm looking to build a bolt gun as a Thermal rig for hogs and coyotes. Looking to equip with a Pulsar Thermion and have been bouncing between a 22 Creedmoor with 80s/88s or a 6 Creedmoor with 105s/108s. Will be doing a 20" barrel...

My V3X 29 just got a complete set of Gas strings and cables from my local shop. I'm looking at the donuts and they look brand new. They did a fantastic job. I'm going to see them tonight and I'll ask about it, he would know far better than I do.
I'm curious about this, I just picked up my V3X 29 from the shop after getting all new strings and cables. My stock ones were trashed after ~1800 shots. I do notice that my new cables have Mathews yoke donuts but I'm wondering if they came in the new kit?
