    Idaho Non-Resident Tag Sale

Well with number 37,388 I still could've gotten a panhandle tag. What I learned from that is that 17,000 people also don't want to hunt there.

    Idaho Non-Resident Tag Sale

Fair for the people buying a tag for themselves. Not fair for the 5-100 people they're also buying tags for who aren't there.

    Idaho Non-Resident Tag Sale

I think the biggest thing that bothers me is letting people buy tags in person with other people's info. The fact that you can make a phone call and pay a guy to take your info and buy a tag for you and 50 other people at an undisclosed outdoors vendor before they ever go online is a huge problem.

    Bear Bows

I've been shooting a Cruzer G2 for a few years now and I've certainly gotten my money's worth as a first bow but I'm extremely ready to move on. I don't think it was really meant for adults it's pretty rough to shoot being so short and light drawing 72 pounds and only 70% letoff.

    Bino Harness Help

I love my FHF harness but if I were looking for something more slim and trim I'd have a hard time picking anything over the Stone Glacier.

Mathews V3 27 shooting far left

That looks like too much lean to me. Plus they look to be leaning in opposite directions?

    Let’s talk Broadheads!

For deer and hogs the Crimson Talon Croc is tough and cheap. 1.5 inch wide single bevel plus the 150 and 200 have steel ferrules.

Light weight fixed angle knife sharpener?

Depends on the heat treat. I’ve seen so many expensive “custom” knives either dull quickly or chip the edge. Only way to find out is to use it hard. It’s 100% going to rust though so be ready to solve that problem.

What do you expect next year in the CO archery OTC units?

The change was probably mostly just lip service to CO residents. They just want the extra fees from forcing all the NR hunters to enter the draw. If this ballot initiative passes we won't have to worry about it though because by the letter of the law, that bill contains all the language they...

    2025 NRL Hunter

REALLY hate that they moved the match in Brownfield TX up by two months. Clayton put on such a great match and has made some big improvements to the range over the offseason but the last two weeks of March are spoken for. Thankfully they added so many matches this year I might still be able to...

    Binoculars

I'd be looking hard at the Athlon Cronus UHD and the Zeiss conquests that are on clearance everywhere. I've looked through the c1 Mavens and they kinda suck overall. I decided to keep my $100 celestron binos and sent the Maven back that's how bad they were.

    Brightest headlamp or compact flashlight

How compact are we talking? You've gotten suggestions for bulky headlamps and a 3-pound flashlight so far. The Wurrkos TS10 is about the size of an 18650 battery and goes up to 1400 lumens with a fairly tight beam. That's what I use when I need to see further than my headlamp washes.
